Respect for nature and labor in every step.
Every product at Mah Roc carries a story. This story begins with carefully collected remnant fabrics, women's labor, and our ethical production philosophy. We manage the entire process from design to delivery with a transparent, responsible, and creative approach.
1. Fabric Collection
The main material of our products is carefully selected, no-longer-used fabrics from different regions of Turkey.
By collecting these excess production, end-of-season, or unused fabrics, we save them from going to waste, and each one transforms into our limited-edition products.
2. Cleaning & Classification
The collected fabrics are cleaned in our workshop and sorted by their textures and colors. A special color and texture palette is created for each collection.
3. Design & Zero Waste Patterning
The limited quantity and different sizes of our fabrics make each design unique.
Each piece is designed with a "zero waste" approach and cut individually. Remaining fabrics are repurposed in by-products such as packaging.
4. Ethical Production
Mah Roc products are manufactured in two centers: our Balat workshop in Istanbul and our social responsibility workshop in Sri Lanka:
-
Istanbul: Design development, winter collection, and special orders are carried out here.
-
Sri Lanka: Summer collections are produced here, alongside the design training we voluntarily conduct at a women's protection center. This process contributes to the economic and social empowerment of women.
5. Control & Labeling
Every product undergoes a quality control process. Its labels contain transparent information about where and how the product was manufactured.
6. Sustainable Packaging
We ship our products in special bags made from remnant fabrics, within recycled or biodegradable shipping packages.
