There is no easy way to alleviate our pain as a society in this period we are going through. We are in a time when we need to be more collective, perhaps with similar thoughts.
Since the first day we started, our language has always been based on being more united, our values have been based on sharing the stories of everyone who walks the same path with us, being inspired and being inspired.
You never left us alone during the 3 years we supported the women's production network in Sri Lanka. Many of you made purchases by adding extra donations to the bags you purchased. So glad to have you!
From now on, it's time to turn our donations to our roots. From now on, our plans will be towards touching the lives of more people and finding different ways to help each other.
Our lands have hosted different cultures, conflicts, wars and reconciliations, and we have no doubt that they will continue to do so.
We know that there is no way to describe the pain we experienced. There is no way to describe being left alone. There is no compensation for losses.
It is our duty to think well, move forward with dedication, take precautions, and ensure the sustainability of what we can.
We will continue to donate a portion of the income from each bag sold to the NGOs we have chosen on a monthly basis and at the end of the month.
We see how important solidarity is in this process and thank everyone who contributed.
